Donation of Materials

Donations Accepted! 

Please review the following information to determine if the Lee County Library is the right place for your donated materials:



  • Antiquarian, Rare and Collectible Books (ex: Special Collections)
  • Children’s Books
  • College Textbooks (published within past 10 years)
  • Foreign Language Books
  • Hardcover Fiction and Nonfiction
  • Mass Market Paperbacks
  • Trade Paperbacks



  • CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs
  • Books on CD
  • Video Games
  • Playaways
    • *Only send complete disc sets with original case art


“Acceptable Condition” means:

  • The item is clean - free of mildew, mold, and dirt
  • Book spines and AV cases are intact – not broken or torn
  • Books have all their pages and their cover
  • Materials are free from water damage
  • No excessive writing or markings

Gifts and Memorials

Monetary Gifts to the Lee County Library

The Lee County Library gratefully accepts monetary gifts from library advocates throughout the year. Gifts can be submitted at the library desk or mailed to the Suzanne Reeves Branch in care of the Library Director.  

Memorial and Honor Gifts

The Lee County Library can be designated for memorial donations in honor of a loved one.  The library will send a "thank you" to each family and friend making a memorial donation and then send a culminating letter including the names of those donating (unless they wish to remain anonymous) to the immediate family.
